Low-Spurious ADC Architectures for Software Radio, two examples of high-resolution ADCs shown here prove that even CMOS ADCs can move into the 100 MHz range with high resolution if new robust architectures are developed. The current ADC art, estimated by recent works, is projected to achieve a linearity of 15 b to 16 b with a SFDR of over 90 dB at a 100 MHz range in the near future.
