Flows in the Atmosphere and in the Ocean,In . we reviewed the theoretical model of THz emission from semi-large aperture photoconducting (PC) antennas. Typically such antennas are fabricated on semi-insulating (SI) GaAs or low-temperature (LT) GaAs semiconductor substrates that exhibit high resistivity and high photocarrier mobility along with sub-picosecond carrier lifetimes.
