Depositional and Reservoir Facies of the Mississippian Leadville Formation, Northwest Lisbon Field, was discovered by the Pure Oil Company in January 1960 from seismic data and stratigraphic analysis of the Pure NW Lisbon No. 1 (B-610) well. Initial production was from Pennsylvanian, Mississippian, and Devonian strata, but only the Mississippian (Leadville) carbonate sequence, by far the major producing unit, will be discussed in this paper.
