Case Study 2: Left and Right Dislocation, less frequent in a literary magazine article. They are also less frequent in the Digital Parisian Stage corpus, and even less frequent in the 1800–1815 theatrical texts in FRANTEXT. This corroborates the evidence in Case Study 1 that FRANTEXT plays are more conservative than the average Parisian play from the same time.

The Digital Parisian Stage Project,rpus is based on a random 1% sample of the plays listed in Wicks Volume 1 (1950), covering the years 1800–1815. Of those 31 plays, 24 were obtained from Google Books, Gallica and other sources. These works have been converted to full text, cleaned and formatted. They are currently available for free download and collaboration on GitHub.
