The original intent was to base it on a representative sample, but due to time constraints it was compiled using an unrepresentative “Principle of Authority.” For the period 1800–1815 the result is four texts chosen based on the subjective interests of literary historians.

Some Stochastic Models in Immunology,The Digital Parisian Stage project offers a much more representative picture of the language of Parisian theater than any known corpus of the same period. Work is continuing on Part II of the project; when the corpus is complete it will provide a more reliable sample for historical studies of the French language.

Weighing in the Ternary Numeral System,ous ways, particularly by choosing a biased sample or by sampling from an inapplicable frame. An ideal corpus would have a balance of genres that matches the input that authors experience, and a corpus of theater is an initial step toward that ideal.
