Investigation of the Dopamine System with Positron Emission Tomography: General Issues in Modellingimplementations of the standard three-compartment model proposed in the literature are compared within the frame of a common set of equations and parameters. Some considerations about model validation and PET experimental protocol optimization are discussed.
