Lern- und Arbeitstechniken für das Studiumelopment of blending language learning. Throughout, we explore the situation at two universities that we have named ‘Minami’ and ‘Kita’ to discuss issues of programme design. Each university, located in Japan, developed an EFL programme where a majority of its classes used purpose-built blended learning rooms.

Blended Language Lessons in Practice,ral activities. This chapter first describes examples of blending technologies in classrooms – within the narrower context of a language learning task or lesson. Following this, in Chapter 7, we focus on the wider context of curricular and institutional programmes.
