Charge Injection into Bilayer Lipid Membranes During Redox Reactions on the Surfacersion of conductance which is observed at higher iodide concentrations indicates that the limiting is the motion of carriers inside the bilayer membrane.. On the other hand the dispersion of the membrane conductance at lower iodide concentrations shows that in this case the slow step occurs at the lipid-water interface..

Stability of organometallic anions and mechanism of cleavage of the Co-C bond depend on the nature of R and of (chel). Cleavage yielding carbanions is proposed as model mechanism for the transfer of organic groups from alkylcobalamines.
