The lists of the avoided strings observed over the sets of (related) genomes have been analyzed. Very low correlation between the phylogeny, and the set of those strings has been found.

Mixed-Integer Programming Model for Profiling Disease Biomarkers from Gene Expression Studiesng several individuals’ gene expression profiles, identifying the most relevant genes for differentiation and discovering the optimal combination of biomarkers that best explains the difference between both states.
