Helen Zaychenko,Yuriy Zaychenkoee-dimensional Markov process, investigate its stability condition and show that its steady-state performance is expressed in terms of the solution of a Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem. Performance metrics are obtained, and numerical results show insights into the system behavior. Some computational issues are also discussed.

System Occupancy of a Two-Class Batch-Service Queue with Class-Dependent Variable Server Capacity,educe an expression for the steady-state probability generating function of the system occupancy at random slot boundaries. Also, some numerical examples are given that provide further insight in the impact of the different parameters on the system performance.

This paper reviews the main results about time-reversible Markov processes and discusses how to apply them to tackle the problem of the quantitative evaluation of reversible computations.

Fluid Approximation of Pool Depletion Systems,ed to model systems with a limited degree of parallelism only. The main contribution provided by this work consists of presenting a fluid approximation approach capturing the main features of the considered pool depletion systems and solving the above mentioned issues.
