Olivier de Bandt,Jean-Pierre Villetelleynamical parameters (i.e. updraft velocity) on the number and size distribution of cloud droplets. To this day similar models are in wide use to examine the effects of aerosol composition and atmospheric trace gases on droplet activation (e.g. Kulmala et al. 1993; Ghan et al. 1997; Feingold and Chuang 2002; Nenes et al. 2002).
