Base Force Element Method for Convex Polygonal Mesh,quations are provided, and a procedure of the present method is developed. A number of convex polygonal mesh problems are solved using the present formulation, and the results are compared with corresponding analytical solutions.

Petro Feketa,Alexander Schaum,Thomas Meurer based on complementary energy principle is proposed for the two-dimensional truss. Some numerical examples are used to prove the reliability of the present model. The results of the novel method are in agreement with the analytical solution and the traditional bar model of finite element method (FEM).
