Differential Staining of Fungi in Clinical Specimens Using Fluorescent Whitening Agent,prepared with transparent tape. After cleaning of the tape in sterile water, the FWA is added and the preparation examined under a fluorescence microscope. Results recorded in infected dry skin and in specimens of mucous membrane are presented.

Improper and Nonstandard Models,antifungal might be useful. We propose to use semiocclusion with cellophane or plastic material for the post-treatment with bifonazole cream 1% to achieve better penetration and to enhance the therapeutic activity on the growing nail.
