影响因子The question ‘What is modernism?‘ has provoked intense critical discussion. A Route to Modernism explores this area; it focuses on the strange and dangerous journey taken by Hardy, Lawrence and Woolf towards unknown regions of the mind and the universe. In a discussion of these novelists, both individually and in relation to one another, a radical reconsideration of modernism is developed. Woolf envisaged her contemporaries ‘flashing past on another railway line‘. A Route to Modernism shows the hypothetical train of Hardy, Lawrence and Woolf not following an existing track but tunnelling beneath surfaces, following routes which are ‘spasmodic, fragmentary‘, sometimes taking off like a rocket into the cosmos. Their fragmented, modernist works deny us ‘the comfort of ... a single meaning, either in works of art or in the world‘. This book offers new approaches to modernism, while insisting on books being left ‘open - no conclusion come to ‘.

Insights from AR Gene Mutations, flashing past the wrong way.’. The right way for Hardy, Lawrence and Woolf took them ‘flashing past’ other modernist writers — Joyce and Stein for instance — on another line. The works of these three novelists show that there is a route to modernism which is on a different track from Joyce’s, thou

Irina U. Agoulnik,Nancy L. Weigellism itself was a challenge, an attempt to create a revolution in consciousness, to enlarge our concept of reality, to intensify our ability to see — both the visible and the invisible; the inner world and the unconscious are as ‘real’ as the known and the seen.

Imaging Androgen Receptor Function In Vivorm, working towards conclusion, suggests a rounding off, a sense of order, and so provides reassurance. ‘Merely to give ., says Kermode in .… ‘is to provide consolation … we [in the twentieth century] want fiction … to make discoveries of the hard truth of here and now … discoveries of dissonance.’.

T. Keta Hodgson,Glenn D. Braunsteints developed final form, is able to suggest modes of being which are ‘unknown’ because of its powerful rhythms and strange imagery. Because the prose is close to poetry and the nonverbal arts of music and painting, the reader is warned against seeking a wholly cognitive response to the text. Awarene
