Biostratigraphy of Triassic AmmonoidsNew results from the theory of Phragmén-Lindelöf are reviewed. Their power is shown by a number of analytic theorems which are derived from them. It is by means of them that we finally prove several new characterization theorems; they mainly characterize the exponential distribution by means of order statistics.
