Limits of Accuracy in Assessing Vessel Permeabilities Using Permeability-Surface(PS)-Limited Two-Coperty with is completely unconsidered in the Tofts model. Therefore changing v. may indicate wrongly to extravascular extracellular fractional volume when in fact the vessel distance is varying and vice versa.

Application study of monitoring microwave coagulation therapy using ultrasonic tissue characterizatwave ablation generator. Ultrasonic echo signals of the pig liver in different temperature were sampled and processed. Experimental results show that the integral value of backscattered ultrasound increases with the temperature and it is possible using ultrasonic tissue characterization to monitor microwave coagulation therapy in real time.
