This amplification typically yields > 2 mg DNA from a single cell, is suited for amplifying DNA isolated from (partly) degraded samples [e.g. formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) material] and works well when used for array-comparative genome hybridization (array-CGH).
