Vor dem Hintergrund möglicher gesellschaftlicher Entstrukturierungsprozesse und unter Berücksichtigung der Eigenschaften des Weines als ästhetisierbarem Konsumgut untersucht Simone Pape, welcher Wein getrunken wird, auf welche Art und Weise und aus welchen Gründen. Die Ergebnisse dieser erweiterten Sozialstrukturanalyse zeigen, dass Weinkonsum stark lebensstilabhängig ist. Zugleich ist er in hohem Maße von der sozialen Schichtung unserer Gesellschaft geprägt..
