Being Free and Letting Oneself Be Bound. A Central Motif in Heidegger’s Aletheiological Approach to he problem of bindingness, the paper examines Heidegger’s understanding of the connection between freedom and bindingness, as it is present in the theoretical-constative access to the world and to beings, both at the ontic and at the ontological level.

The Life of Form: Practical Reason in Kant and Hegelorm of a practical rule. In the third section, I point to some of the attractions and some of the problems of such an account. I close by considering a Hegelian alternative: the notion that a rational life is not the life of “mere,” but of “absolute form.”
