The Soliton Concept in Lattice Dynamics,metimes by some external stimulus; their experimental manifestation is indirect; their observation is more subtle than for the nonlinear macrowaves. This should explain why the number of experimental investigations is rather small compared to the considerable body of literature devoted to theoretical and numerical studies.

Diffusive Solitons,be neglected or in some cases to be considered weak perturbations. The model equations supported soliton solutions owing to the dynamical balance between the linear dispersion and nonlinearity, and an initial disturbance could break up into solitons.
