Wavelet-Based Static Test of ADCs wavelet-based techniques. We test for differential nonlinearity (DNL) error, integral nonlinearity (INL) error, gain error (GE), and offset error (OE). In this chapter, we compare the testing results using the Haar and Daubechies wavelets.

Wavelet-Based Compression Using Nonorthogonal and Orthogonally Compensated W-Matricesy compensated w-matrices. This chapter discusses the techniques and the various simulated experiments for comparatives analysis using different types of images to represent real-world examples. The statistical results are very encouraging with the different types of wavelets used.

Wavelet TransformsWe discuss the concept of wavelet transform in this chapter. The one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) wavelet transform are two primary transforms discussed. We explored the relationships between the high-pass and low-pass coefficients. In addition, what happens at the various stages of the transforms is demonstrated.
