3D-Morphing and its Application to Virtual RealityThis paper describes the principles and problems of 3d-morphing in real-time applications. Several known morphing-algorithms will be discussed and a new algorithm will be presented, which works on arbitrary polyhedra. Furthermore this paper presents 3d-morphing as an application for smooth transition between different level-of-detail (LOD).
