Summary and Future Directions,We have presented the design and evaluation of the Adaptive Distributed Virtual Computing Environment (ADViCE), introduced prediction and tuning functions to estimate the task execution time at any point, and developed the Dynamic Heterogeneous Prediction-Based Algorithm (DHPB) to be used as a task-scheduling algorithm in ADViCE.
