Comparison of Water Vapour Data from Monex-79 and the , Satellite in latitude and longitude, and the temporal separation between measurements that were compared being restricted to not more than 5 hours. The analysis demonstrated an excellent agreement between the satellite-derived and directly-measured data, with correlation coefficients of + 0.98 in both cases.
