A Spectrally Preconditioned Iterative Reduced Correction Algorithm for Vibro-acoustic Problems,reconditioner. However, to save some computational cost, an iteration limit is used for the iterative solution process. These vectors are shown to enrich the reduction space in an iterative sense. Concerning the developed method, some test applications are provided.

Piezoaeroelastic Typical Section for Wind Energy Harvesting,ffect, is identified. Results show that airflow velocities close to the natural wind are enough to induce self-sustained oscillations and produce persistent power output from scaled piezoaeroelastic generators.

Nonlinear Testing and Models Comparison of Magneto-Mechanical Energy Scavengers,tric load coupled to it..Experimental tests are performed to validate the models by varying source characteristics, moving and fixed magnet sizes, stroke and clearance. Simulations and tests are also performed to verify the scalability of the device and to relate the output power with the size of the moving magnet.

Stiffness and Damping Characterisation for a Hydraulic Engine Mount,ies (6–195 Hz) and also different excitation amplitudes (0.01–3 mm). The measured data was then used to compute the stiffness and damping characteristics of the HEM by using appropriate mathematical equations. The frequency and amplitude dependency on dynamic stiffness and damping ratio were investigated.

Characterization of Bio-Inspired Synthetic Hair Cell Sensors,. The finite element model is subsequently validated using high-speed imaging techniques and a closed-form solution. The model is then used to characterize the dynamic behavior of the hair cell sensor due to non-contact methods of excitation, such as base excitation.
