描述 | Among the many technological and legal efforts being made torestore our environment, electrostatic technologies may well hold thesolution to the cleaning of air, water and soil. Such technologiesinclude non-thermal plasma processing - electron beamirradiation, electrical discharge, hybrid plasma systems. The bookalso contains descriptions of the industrial implementation of thetechnology for NO.x. and SO.2. removal usingaccelerated electrons. This technique has been implemented in threeplants, built in China, Poland and Japan. Water pollution can becontrolled and reduced by the use of ozone and UV irradiation.
