Diagnosability and Failure Detection in Linear Discrete Dynamical Systemsappearing from near the weakly-diagnosable-space and the another taking into account the estimation of dominant low-frequencies’ modes other than a bias. Some comments are maid on the detection methods and the detectionability, and several criteria for optimal sensor location are mentioned about.

Weibull Parameter Estimation on a Personal ComputerA wide parameter field with sample sizes from 10 to 80 was studied. Based on the simulation results the method with the best overall performance was chosen and a userfriendly parameter estimation program was written in BASIC to run on a Personal Computer.

The coherence degree of a variable is defined and used to localize failures by means of a signature which is independant of the kind of the failure.

Fault Detection and Location in Mrac Robotic Systems decisions in the event of a failure. The whole fault monitoring scheme is easily added to an existing MRAC system. Simulation studies in the case of faults in the manipulator’s D.C. motors complete the paper and demostrate the usefulness of the method.
