Explaining Bayesian Networks Using Argumentationtistical experts, however, Bayesian networks may be hard to interpret. Especially since the inner workings of Bayesian networks are complicated they may appear as black box models. Argumentation models, on the contrary, emphasise the derivation of results. However, they have notorious difficulty dea

Uncertainty in the Cloud: An Angel-Daemon Approach to Modelling Performanceative description of an environment whose quality of service (QoS) may fluctuate unpredictably. Uncertain environments are modelled by strategic games with two agents; a daemon is used to represent overload and high resource contention; an angel is used to represent an idealised resource allocation

Game-Theoretic Resource Allocation with Real-Time Probabilistic Surveillance Informationse approaches traditionally utilize the Stackelberg game model for security resource scheduling in order to improve the protection of critical assets. The basic assumption in Stackelberg games is that a defender will act first, then an attacker will choose their best response after observing the def

Representing and Reasoning About Arguments Mined from Texts and Dialogueses, we want be able combine them, deconstruct them, and to analyse them (for instance to check whether the set is inconsistent). To address these needs, we propose a formal language for representing reasons and claims, and a framework for inferencing with the arguments and counterarguments in this formal language.
