描述This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 3rd EAI International Conference on Sustainable Energy for Smart Cities, SESC 2021, held in November 2021. Technical-Economic Analysis of a Power Supply System for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Using Phhotovoltaic system that will allow the use of solar energy is also proposed. HOMER Grid software was used to simulate and analyze the different systems from a technical and economic point of view for different cases. It was concluded that HOMER is a powerful tool but some drawbacks are also pointed out.

Assessing Household Electricity Consumers’ Willingness to Load Shiftrtations for the country emerge also as important motivations in particular for younger respondents. The study concludes also on the need to improve communication on DR programs and overcome the consumers’ inertia that still exists and prevent more effective participation in the electricity market.

A Three-Phase Multilevel AC-DC Converter Operating as a Shunt Active Power Filter: Validation Considof operation in an industrial environment. The obtained results validate the proposed three-phase multilevel converter when operating as a shunt active power filter, showing that the power quality problems presented in the currents are compensated and the converter operates with the multilevel characteristic for all the conditions of operation.
