Irrigation Scheduling in the Agronomic Practice problems in the groundwater as well as in soils. In order to minimize the effect of this contamination, agriculture must make more efficient use of its irrigation water by applying the proper amount of water on crops at the proper time in order to optimize crop productivity and protect the environment.
