Numerical Study of Heat Transfer by Free and Forced Convection in a Ventilated Cavityuse the turbulent nature of the flow in the cavity, the k-. turbulence model with a nonuniform grid was applied. Different values of heat flux and inlet air velocities are tested and the flow patterns and thermal fields are discussed. The heat transfer coefficients for engineering calculations are presented in nondimensional form.
