I.e., it clearlyexplains why a particular technique should be selected for a specific patienton the basis of the available evidence, which is carefully reviewed. The bookidentifies potential complications and highlights technical pearls, describingnewer surgical techniques and illustrating them with the help of images andaccompanying videos. Anterior Cervical Decompression and Arthrodesis/Arthroplasty apoptosis, and microvascular alterations. Considering the variable but often benign and slowly progressive natural history, nonoperative management is initially the preferred choice of treatment for patients with cervical radiculopathy and mild cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) except in cases with moderate to severe myelopathy.
