These proceedings, entitled SURFACE TREATMENTS FOR IM PROVED PERFORMANCE AND PROPERTIES, address the Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Surfaces, Emerging Surface Modi fication Techniques, Surface Structure and Mechanical Proper ties, and Relationships between Properties and Processing for Non-metric Materials.
