Structural Fluctuations in Myoglobinf molecule segments in a restricted space. Mean square displacements as determined by X-ray method give the limitations in space determined by the binding forces within the molecule. Additional information on the type of segmental motions, their characteristic times and the segmental size will be given.

Kinetics of Geminate Recombination Following Photodissociation of Mutant (Carbonmonoxy)Hemoglobinshe first hundred nanoseconds following photodissociation of the complex in physiological conditions. This process was shown to be due to geminate recombination of photodissociated CO imprisoned in the protein. The same observation was made also for the isolated Hb subunits (3).
