Introduction,ting and planned undulator-based x-ray radiation facilities are provided, as well as the motivation to improve understanding of the statistical properties of undulator radiation. Brief description of the experiments, carried out in this dissertation, is presented. Main parameters of the research facility hosting these experiments are provided too.

Measurements with a Single Electron in the IOTA Ring,ations. This allows to determine several dynamical parameters of the storage ring such as the radiofrequency cavity phase jitter and the dependence of the synchrotron motion period on amplitude. Future research plans are discussed as well.
