Learning Movement Kinematics with a Targeted Soundning task, namely to reproduce a targeted sound. The motion of a small handheld object was used to control a sound synthesizer. The object angular velocity was measured by a gyroscope and transmitted in real time wirelessly to the sound system. The targeted sound was reached when the motion matched

Vibrotactile Feedback for an Open Air Music Controller ways of controlling musical sound. Results of an informal evaluation indicate that the synthesized vibrotactile stimuli can provide useful feedback on how the performer is playing the instrument, as well as enhancing the experience of playing the given DMIs.
