Somatic Embryogenesis in Citrus (, spp.), var. Valenciaue and the use of an alternative method of callus sieving for culture synchronization and embryo production. This is a simple method which can also be evaluated for other species aiming at better culture efficiency and somatic embryo production.

Citrus Protoplast Isolation and Plant Regeneration Through Somatic Embryogenesis is an important methodology for breeding applications. The methods presented here can also be used as a reference for protoplast work in other species, followed by protocol optimization for different species/genotypes.
