Investigation of the Mechanism of Errors Formation in Geometric Shape During Face Grinding,g of high-precision slabs such as the gate valve of the once-through valve. It was found that the main reason for the formation of shape errors is the uneven abrasive effect on the treated surface due to a change in its configuration. The ways of increasing the accuracy of the flat grinding operation with the wheel end face are proposed.
