Dynamic Size Effect in Concrete Materials,ences of size effect and strain-rate effect should be an interesting issue. Great progresses have been made in static size effect while almost no efforts have been conducted in dynamic size effect of concrete.

Seismic Performances and Size Effect in Columns,s often show characteristics of brittle shear failure and less-ductile bending failure. Therefore, the seismic performance of concrete columns under combined lateral and axial loads may present size effect.

Static Size Effect in Concrete Materials,As known, concrete materials with different sizes have different internal components and show significant size effect. The investigation on size effect of concrete structures has fallen into two major directions (Du et al. 2017a, 2017b): (1) material size effect, and (2) component size effect.
