Methods,This protein purification and labeling was done in collaboration with Luca Domenico D’Andrea, Istituto di Biostrutture e Bioimmagini, CNR, Napoli, Italy. The protein cloning, expression and purification was carried out according to the protocol published previously [1].

Introduction, contacts, the structures of repeat proteins show mainly intra- and inter-repeat local contacts. These simple topologies facilitate modeling of the folding mechanism. Tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) is a 34-amino acid helix-turn-helix motif found in tandem arrays in many natural proteins.
