Segmentation and Validation of Infrared Breast Images Using Weighted Level Set and Phase Congruencyoss. The regional statistics measures such as EFI and Y-index are found to be 0.97 and 0.95, respectively, which indicate good correlation between the segmented and ground truth images. Hence, weighted level set method could be used to extract the breast tissue from other regions for automated analysis and clinical diagnosis.
