An Efficient Approach for Region-Based Image Classification and Retrieval,ures extraction is done by using color moments and 2D wavelets decomposition technique. Experimental results show that the proposed approach can achieve precision of better than 93% that justifies the viability of the proposed approach compared with other state-of-the-art classification and retrieval approaches.

Robust Speech Enhancement Using Two-Stage Filtered Minima Controlled Recursive Averaging, spectral subtraction. The proposed Filtered MCRA (FMCRA) performance is evaluated using objective tests on the Aurora database under various noisy environments. These measures indicate the higher output SNR and lower output residual noise and distortion.

Automatic Colon Cleansing in CTC Image Using Gradient Magnitude and Similarity Measure,nd all the pixels that are classified as high density materials are removed. Finally, gradient magnitude and thresholding are used to detect AT and ATT layers. The proposed method was evaluated on four pilot dadasets from two patients and the experimental results reveal that the proposed method can perform colon cleansing effectively.

A Scale and Rotation Invariant Interest Points Detector Based on Gabor Filters,aracteristic scale is known. The interest points are invariant to scale and rotation and give repeatable results (geometric stable). Comparative evaluation using the repeatability criteria shows the good performance of our approach.

Link Shifting Based Pyramid Segmentation for Elongated Regions,d top to bottom, left to right in odd iterations, and bottom to top, right to left in even iterations, which improved the speed at which accurate segmentation was achieved. The new algorithm is tested on a set of images.
