Generation of Electromagnetic Waves, on Electromagnetic Theory. The presentation uses a pair of parallel plates as described by Maxwell in deriving the concept of displacement current. The result is lines of flux (defined as displacement current) that radiates out from the parallel plates. The generation of the . and . fields as a function of the displacement current is presented.

Radiated Field Strength from Radiating Elements,y that the electromagnetic wave radiating from a transmission line pair of wires is generated by displacement current created by the difference in voltage between the wire pair and (2) prove that the impedance of high impedance sources of a wave provides the same level of impedance.
