Human and Material Resources: Finance, Teachers and Physical Resources,professionalism. The final section of the chapter deals with physical resources in schools—the relationship between teacher salaries and monies for physical resources, shortages of basic resources—buildings, textbooks, water, electricity, desks and toilets are each discussed as are double-shift schooling and school feeding programmes.
