Conclusion,past. As with the Kazak intelligentsia in the 1920s, contemporary Kazak scholars view a history yet to be fully written. Society is undergoing a tremendously difficult transition and history can offer insights and understanding. Historical reinterpretation often clarifies certain themes and commonalities that are regularly ignored by scholars.
