DNA Analysis of Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophiespermit the carrier detection and antenatal diagnosis of these disorders in informative families. Methods being developed to identify the defects at the DNA level should lead to a better understanding of the molecular basis of these muscular dystrophies.

Genetic Analysis of the Fragile X-Mental Retardation Syndrome with Polymorphic DNA Markerstion fraction for the linkage FIX-Fra X of 0.12 and Fra X-Stl4 of 0.10.
