Transperitoneal and Retroperitoneal Port Placement,Robotic partial/radical nephrectomy has become increasingly utilized for renal cancer due to the equivalent oncologic and functional outcomes and decreased morbidity when compared to open surgery (Peyronnet et al. in Ann Surg Oncol 23:4277–4283, 2016;Leow et al. in J Urol 196:1371–1377, 2016;Petros et al. in Urology 85:1352–1358, 2015;).
