Untersuchungen zur Aufnahme von Methyl-,.-butyl­ether durch Blätter und Wurzeln von Spinat- und Radits was less than 0.1 ppm in all the treatments, whereas results were quite different with red radish. Spraying the leafs with 100 and 500 mg/l of MTBE water resulted in 4 and 25 ppm of MTBE incorporation whereas in surface drop, the residues were 4 and 29.5 ppm of MTBE respectively.
