Intravitreal Injection of AAV for the Transduction of Mouse Retinal Ganglion Cells,avitreal injection, which introduces the treatment into the largest cavity at the posterior of the eye. This technique is frequently used to deliver gene therapies, including those containing recombinant adeno-associated viral vectors (AAVs), to the back of the eye to enable inner retinal targeting.

Thus, OCT can provide insights into disease severity and treatment efficacy. This chapter describes the use of OCT as a powerful non-invasive imaging technology for high-resolution retinal imaging and retinal thickness quantification in rodents.
