Resource Allocation for Cellular/WLAN Interworking,N. A key challenge for allocating resources for this system is the high complexity of resource allocation algorithms. Reasons for such high complexity are the existence of multiple PHY and MAC technologies in the interworking system, and that the cellular network and the WLAN allocate resources at a fast and a slow time-scale.
